The Broome Connection

Since 2010, the Year 7 players and some dads fly up to Broome for one of the most important events on the Redbacks’ calendar – the annual Broome Trip.

They jump on a bus in Broome and drive for 4 hours along a bumpy, dusty track to One Arm Point, where they meet the local kids, play some games of footy with them, and see a part of the WA and a community that they normally wouldn’t get a chance to visit.

For both kids and dads it’s an amazing experience that, apart winning a premiership, is a highlight of being part of the Redbacks Club.
